A JOURNEY TO SKINCARE WITH OUR FOUNDER, EMMA CHEVREL At L'ORGANIQ, we are passionate advocates of beauty and constantly seek out the latest trends and innovations. As an avid consumer of skincare products, I had always taken my routine for granted. However, a turning point came when I was diagnosed with Grade 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer at the age of 35 in 2009. This experience led me to reevaluate my skincare choices and embark on a remarkable journey of self-discovery, resilience, and empowerment. Throughout my treatment, I realised there were very few skincare options available that wouldn't further irritate my sensitive skin, which had been affected by chemotherapy. Having already undergone intense medical procedures, I longed for a skincare solution that could restore my confidence. Unfortunately, even my regular facialist couldn't provide the support I needed, as they were not "insured" to treat me. It was during this challenging time that I received an insensitive remark from a beautician in a well-known department store, who suggested I "come back when I felt better". This encounter became the inspiration behind L'ORGANIQ. I set out to create a brand that offers inclusive, premium natural skincare products that are accessible and affordable to individuals of all ages, from teenagers to adults. ​ Our products are carefully crafted from naturally derived botanicals. We are proud to be a certified Carbon Neutral Business, off-setting our carbon footprint by planting 30 trees a month in sustainable projects around the world; off-setting 60 tones of CO2e each year and helping to reverse the climate impact of our business. ​ Our products are free of the most common allergens and contain no harsh and unnecessary chemicals. There are no parabens, fillers or additives in any of our products and the entire range is cruelty free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. We select the best quality natural and where we can, organic, ingredients, purely for their beneficial properties and we minimise our carbon footprint by using only UK-based suppliers. ​ All of the scent blends used in our products are made from natural essential oils and not synthetic fragrances - yuk! ​ We have only 3 products within our entire range which include sustainable Palm Oil. The palm oil used in these formulations are certified organic, certified sustainable and originate from a farm on the RSPO member list. ​ Our packaging is carefully selected too, with 90% of our range produced in recyclable glass containers. Currently, only 3 products are sold using low density recyclable PET plastic, simply for safety. Our refills are zero waste, each produced in 100% biodegradable eco pouches, made from renewable wood pulp starch and our gift cards are 'Envirolopes' and are made from Eucalyptus.
